The remote fuel canister cable design allows you to invert the canister, enabling liquid fuel to flow directly to the burner. This ensures a strong, even flame, even in frigid temperatures or high-altitude environments. The integrated pre-heat coil further enhances efficiency, smoothly transitioning the liquid fuel into a clean, powerful gas jet flame.

For precise flame control, the FMS-118 can be used with the fuel canister in an upright position. However, in extreme conditions, inverting the canister can maximize the output power after just 1.5 minutes of upright use. The folding stainless steel pot arms can accommodate pots up to 10 inches in diameter, providing a stable and secure cooking platform.

The FMS-118 is designed to be highly versatile, allowing you to adjust the flame from a gentle simmer to a full boil. It is compatible with standard backpacking screw-top gas canisters, as well as the Fire-Maple Z1 LPG adapter, which enables connection to Coleman-style propane canisters (neither the gas canister nor the Z1 adapter are included with this stove).

For added convenience and protection, the FMS-118 comes with a padded mesh bag, which serves as an ample protector for the stove when stored in your backpack or gear.
